The Lofty Camp Experience

Lofty Camp is one of Lofty Ventures’ signature events. It’s hosted annually at glamping site Off Map, a former Lofty portfolio company (exited in 2023), in southwest Michigan. Lofty Camp brings together members of the Lofty community to unplug, build deeper relationships, and enjoy nature together. But mind you, this IS NOT roughing it…see the pics and you’ll get what I mean. The accommodations are incredible.

Lofty Camp 2025: Lacrosse Edition

Lofty Camp 2025 will be joined by several special guests, including our very own Athlete in Residence (XiR) Sergio Pekovic, who plays for the Carolina Chaos in the Premier Lacrosse League. He was a three-time, first-team All-American, a 2017 NCAA Senior Class Award winner, and a 2017 graduate of The University of Notre Dame. Perk has played professionally for the Boston Cannons (‘17 – ‘18), California Redwoods, (‘19 – ‘23), and currently plays for the Carolina Chaos (‘24 – ‘25). He was a finalist for the 2020 Midfielder of the Year and was also selected to play in the 2019 and 2021 PLL All-Star games. When he’s not playing pro lacrosse, Perk works at Goldman Sachs in wealth management and previously worked at various tech startups.

"Lofty Camp was the rare opportunity to build deeper, authentic relationships with a new set of people in the startup world. More than a zoom, more than a coffee. Sharing home cooked meals, a campfire and experiences goes a long way."

Guy Turner Co-founder & General Partner of Hyde Park Venture Partners

"As a founder, it's important for me to unplug from the day-to-day, step back and see the bigger picture, and encounter new ideas. What better way to do this than with an intimate group of founders and investors spending 3 days bonding over s'mores, cider, and games."

Rehman Merali Co-founder & CEO of teaBOT (YC S15)

"Lofty Camp is one of the rare founder and investor gatherings where real trust forms quickly and the conversations lead to lasting friendships and tangible outcomes. As both an operator and an investor, I value environments that create signal over noise, and Lofty Camp creates space and time for thoughtful dialogue and unexpected upside."
